Ellen-Thérèse Lamm, histology lab manager at the Museum of the Rockies, was awarded the 2016 Polysciences — Anne Preece Award by the National Society of Histotechnology. She is being recognized by the society for over 25 years of technical work in paleohistology, publication of techniques and co-editing the book Bone Histology of Fossil Tetrapods (UC Press — 2013), and teaching workshops across the Unites States and around the world.

BOZEMAN - The thin slices of dinosaur bone that Ellen-Thérèse Lamm produces and the colorful photographs taken of these fossils under a Montana State University microscope continue to gain new audiences.
